We are only on day 4 of Lockdown in the UK and many other countries are much further along the line then we are here.
We’ve been driving down to the beach in the evenings for a walk and we have since discovered that the drive alone would be considered as non-essential travel, so that will need to stop from now.
Happily, I managed to have a video call with 5 of my girlfriends last night straight after Clap for Carers. It was lovely to be able to catch up and exchange lockdown stories and generally have a bit of a gossip.
After the call I realised that whilst we are in this awful and unprecedented situation, it has somehow pushed us to make more of an effort to communicate with each other. All of the tools we used in the video call we had before Coronavirus so there really was no excuse.
I have also realised that there are so many tiny, inconsequential things that I do (or don’t do enough of) that I take for granted, that I am really looking forward to.

Long walks in the countryside
